Fun?

This is how we manage to get ourselves into, but rarely out of, repeated trouble.

And the following is how my 23 year old son is learning that stuffing a 413 cu. in. V-8 engine into a space designed for a 230 cu. in. one can be one very long and demanding engineering experience. Our old two-ton flatbed 1955 Dodge truck won't even know that hills exist after this enhancement to the big engine, a manual shift automatic transmission, and power steering. The guy paying the gas bills will sure know that the hills exist I'll bet! Not an exercise in profitable return on investment of both time and money but it has indeed been fun and an excellent leaning experience for a young budding engineer.
