Part-per-trillion Level Gas Sampling Canisters

These internally electropolished sampling vessels were used for ambient air sampling for ppt levels of hydrocarbons and halocarbons. At these trace levels the art is in cleaning the internal surfaces. Too clean and surfaces become active and attract and hold the species of interest. Not clean enough and they contaminate the sample. Absolutely no polymeric materials may be in contact with the sample stream. The most critical applications required a 100% welded construction (center cansister).
